much do overages cost me?
Overage billing occurs
when an account exceeds the allotted disk space or monthly bandwidth.
Overages apply to web space and bandwidth excesses to the Basic Plan
and Standard Plan. The Professional Plan overages apply only to web
space excess and not to bandwidth. The Power Plan does not incur either
a web space or a bandwidth excess overage. The Power Plan allows for
excessive use of allotted space and bandwidth without penalty. This is
virtually an unlimited feature set up.
Web disk overage fees are $0.75 per MB over the allotted limit.
Bandwidth overage fees are $0.85 per MB over the allotted limit.
Those amounts are in addition to the plan pricing. With disk overages,
fees will be applied per month as long as the excess use is over the
limit.
Bandwidth usage is reset on a monthly basis.
To avoid overage billing, assess your disk space and bandwidth usage
and consider upgrading to the next available hosting package to keep
your site from going over the limits as it grows.
